The City of Union City Purchasing Division is responsible for managing the bid process and reviewing specifications and conditions for invitations to bid. The Purchasing Team assists vendors with the appropriate paper work for submitting a bid. Current available bids can be found below under "Current Bid Opportunities". Those entities who would like to do business with the City can also register to become a vendor by downloading the vendor application. The Purchasing Team is also responsible for ensuring vendor compliance.
The Purchasing Division also identifies and develops potential sources of supplies, materials, equipment, and service providers who are capable of providing
quality goods at appropriate prices. They initiate
and maintain communications with these vendors to
ensure proper pricing as well as placement of the
product.
